LIFE-CYCLE HYPOTHESIS
Гипотеза жизненного цикла
Гипотеза о том, что текущее потребление зависит не только от текущего чистого дохода, но также связано с ожидаемым пожизненным доходом. Молодой человек, например, может позволить себе купить дом в кредит, поскольку его ожидания связаны с увеличением доходов в будущем (перспективы карьерного роста, реальная возможность повышения базисных ставок зарплаты и т.д.), что позволит ему погасить свои долги. Человек в возрасте, наоборот, будет ограничивать свое потребление, понимая, что после выхода на пенсию его доходы будут только сокращаться. Экономическое значение гипотезы заключается в том, что в краткосрочном периоде уровень потребления может быть выше или ниже уровня, определяемого величиной текущего чистого дохода. См.
